Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU) is establishing model community clinics to provide youth-centered, gender-inclusive Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services.

Founded on the principle of "young people for young people," RAHU is expanding its 12-year legacy of youth empowerment by building physical health centers. Our mission is to challenge social norms and provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where young people, women, and men can access quality healthcare.
The clinics offer a comprehensive range of medical services integrated with youth-friendly care:
Treatment for common illnesses like malaria and general medical consultations.

Modern contraception, Bilateral Tubal Ligation (BTL), and a specialized focus on male-friendly services including vasectomies.
Antenatal care (ANC), safe deliveries, and postnatal care (PNC).

Testing, care, and prevention information.
On-site laboratory, ultrasound scans, and minor surgical procedures.

Uganda faces significant health challenges, including high maternal mortality and a rising need for contraceptive access. By establishing our first model clinic in Mbarara City, we are addressing local gaps such as high HIV burdens and a lack of safe spaces for students and vulnerable groups.
The flagship clinic is located in Kampungu Zone, Mbarara City, serving over 20,000 people with plans to expand to 10 more districts across Uganda.
