Threads of Legacy is an initiative that brings together different generations, especially young people and older persons to share stories, knowledge, and lived experiences, while addressing key social issues like sexual and reproductive health and well-being.

What makes it unique is how it uses creative, expressive formats like fireside conversations, fashion shows, music, and storytelling to spark dialogue and shift perspectives.

At its core, the initiative aims to:

• Bridge the generational gap and rebuild connections between youth and elders
• Preserve cultural knowledge and shared values
• Raise awareness on issues affecting both young people and older persons, including SRHR, mental health, and healthy aging

It also intentionally centers older persons, giving them visibility, dignity, and a platform to share their experiences—while reminding communities that aging is something to be respected and celebrated, not overlooked.
