Making Health Systems Work for Adolescents and Young People in Uganda- E-Voucher (Sautiplus HEROES FOR GTA)

The Sauti-plus Heroes E-voucher project is a 6-month project under the HEROES for Gender Transformative action program that is implemented by consortium partners including  Amref, Cordaid, MIFUMI, ICRW and Reach A Hand Uganda.

The HEROES program focuses on strengthening health systems to ease access to youth-friendly SRHR-related services in the districts of Bukwo, Kween, Budaka, Namayingo and Mayuge. The project seeks to ease access to youth-friendly services in marginalised communities through a peer-to-peer approach supporting referral pathways. Reach A Hand Uganda under its innovation arm uses the Sauti Plus app as a referral pathway where trained peers map out victims and survivors of GBV in their communities and refer them to the RBF-selected health facilities with the use of an E-Voucher card.
