Leesu FemPower is a social impact initiative by Reach A Hand Africa (RAHA) designed to empower young women aged 18- 30yrs in film, photography, videography, and visual storytelling. The initiative provides participants with practical skills, mentorship, creative resources, and opportunities to develop and showcase their work.
Through training and hands-on learning facilitated by experienced industry women professionals, fellows are supported to strengthen their creative practice while using storytelling to amplify women’s voices, challenge gender stereotypes, highlight lived experiences, and inspire social change.
Leesu FemPower also creates a community where young women can connect, collaborate, access opportunities and build their confidence and visibility within Uganda’s creative industry.

We are the leading force in youth-led advocacy, service delivery, and innovation, driving impactful solutions in Uganda’s SRHR landscape. Our interventions are youth-driven, research-backed, and scalable, ensuring sustainable progress in improving the well-being of young people.
